McGuinness responds to IICD Statement
Sinn Fein Chief Negotiator Martin McGuinness responding to the statement from the IICD said:
``We welcome the assertion by the IICD that a successful outcome to the review, including the establishment of the political institutions, will mark a major move forward.
``That needs to happen urgently.
``The IICD report recognises that decommissioning is a voluntary act and cannot be imposed, and that there is a collective responsibility on all the participants to create the context in which decommissioning can be achieved.
``This is the challenge facing the two governments and all the pro-Agreement parties.''
