McGuinness to meet new US Ambassador to Britain
Sinn Fein Mid Ulster MP Martin McGuinness will be meeting with the United States Ambassador to Britain this afternoon at 4pm.
The meeting will be the first between Sinn Fein and the new Ambassador and will give Ambassador Lader the opportunity to familiarise himself with Sinn Fein's analysis of the current state of the peace process.
Mr. McGuinness will convey Sinn Fein's appreciation of the positive contribution to the peace process made by the American administation. He will also communicate our welcome for and endorsement of their continued involvement in the search for a democrratic resolution of the conflict.
The meeting will take place at the US Consular Home in the Beaver district of Belfast.
