Adams - ``Vacuum is extremely dangerous''
Supporting the remarks of Fianna Fáil leader Bertie Ahern, in which he criticised the demand for ``decommissioning'' Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams, speaking in Dublin this morning said:
``The current protracted vacuum is extremely dangerous and needs to be filled as a matter of urgency with real talks.
``All sensible people know that preconditions prevent this.
``The direct route into a proper process of inclusive talks is through the removal of all preconditions. It is obvious that an agreed time-frame is needed and all sides, but particularly the British government, have to build confidence through measures and actions which encourage trust.''
