Irish language Act should be introduced now

Speaking prior to the opening of Slogadh Shinn Fein which is taking place in Clones, Co. Monaghan this weekend Sinn Fein TD for Cavan Monaghan Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin has called for the introduction of an Irish language Act in the coming Dáil term.

This follows the publication of the discussion document on the Irish language Act by Comhdhail Naisiunta na Gaeilge this week.
