Apprentice Boys March - Discipline Needed
Sinn Fein M.P and assembly member Martin Mc Guinness has said that tomorrows Apprentice Boys march should be approached in a spirit of responsibilty by all. Mr Mc Guinness said he was confident that if discipline was maintained that it would be trouble free day.
Mr Mc Guinness said :
``The accomodation between the Bogside Residents Group and the Apprentice Boys Organisation should allow this march to take place without the oppression which has normally accompanied the visit of thousands of `Boys' to the city.
``I am confident that if all the people who may have reason to be in the vicinity of the march on Saturday can maintain the discipline which has been displayed by nationalists throughout the Loyal Orders long `marching season' then we will be able to look forward to a trouble free day.''ENDS
