Sinn Fein - committed to exclusively peaceful and democratic means
Sinn Fein North Belfast Assembly representative Gerry Kelly today reiterated his attitude to the killing last weekend of Andrew Kearney.
Mr. Kelly said:
``I have made it clear that whoever was responsible for the killing of Andrew Kearney it was wrong. Sinn Fein remains totally committed to doing everything we can to make these actions a thing of the past.
``Our party remains totally and absolutely committed to exclusively peaceful and democratic means of resolving differences on political issues and we are opposed to any use or threat of force by others for any political purpose.''
Responding to today's RUC statement Mr. Kelly said:
``The RUC lacks any credibility. It has consistently demonstrated its bias and opposition to the peace process.''
