Sinn Fein has delivered

Sinn Fein Vice President and Assembly member Pat Doherty responding to remarks by SDLP Deputy Leader Seamus Mallon said:

``Seamus Mallon knows the risks and dangers which Sinn Fein has faced, and the critical role we have played in creating the current opportunity for peace.

``Mr. Mallon knows that we have used, and are continuing to use our influence to bring a permanent end to conflict.

``We are not interested in word games played out for the benefit of political parties and political leaders who are refusing to fulfil their responsibilities and who won't even engage in dialogue.

``Sinn Fein has delivered on all of our commitments. It is now up to others to do the same.''
