Adams pledges support to residents of Ormeau Road and Garvaghy Road
Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams MP tonight pledged his party's support for the residents of the Ormeau Road and Garvaghy Road.
Mr. Adams said:
``The Parades Commission's determinations are a trade-off around Garvaghy Road. They are certainly nothing to do with the objective application of the Parades Commission's own criteria for making these determinations. No march should enter any areas where they are not wanted.
``Dialogue must take place between marchers and residents.
``Unfortunately there are those who wish to maintain the culture of domination and supremacy. That attitude has to change.
``I appeal for calm among all sections of people.''
