Sinn Fein criticises Mallon
Sinn Fein assembly Memeber for Mid-Ulster, Francie Molloy speaking at a Republican Commemeration in Derry today had strong words for SDLP Deputy leader Seamus Mallon.
In his address Mr. Molloy, refering to comments made recently By the Deputy First Minister Designate said:
``Seamus Mallons comments on Friday about excluding Sinn Fein from the Executive were outrageous and pandering to the most negative aspects of Unionism.
If Mr. Mallon has nothing wothwhile to say then he should say nothing at this sensitive time. Nationalists greeted his comments with disbelief who are at a loss as to their purpose? The only people who will take comfort from his remarks are those unionists who have blocked for over a year the implementation of the Agreement.
Sinn Fein's electorate is entitled to the same rights as anyone else. No one has the authority to deny them their rights. Mr. Mallon should know that the politics of exclusion are the politics of failure.''
