Loyalist graffiti 'sick'

Statement from Sinn Fein Councillor Michael Ferguson describing as 'sick' graffiti which appeared overnight on the Stewartstown Road opposite Woodburn RUC barracks.

Cllr. Ferguson said:

"The offensive glorifying the shocking killing of Lurgan solicitor Rosemary Nelson appeared overnight opposite Woodburn barracks. These slogans would have taken time to paint but the RUC failed to notice them being put up.

"I am calling on community leaders in the area to ensure that these slogans are removed immediately and do not appear again."ENDS
