Adams calls for an end to all killings
Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams MP, speaking in Limerick this morning, where he is campaigning in the Limerick East by-election, has called for an end to all killings.
Mr. Adams said:
``I call for an end to all killings and I extend to the families of those killed last night my deepest condolences.
``There may be a temptation to present these latest killings as senseless, or merely sectarian or as part of some so-called tit for tat cycle. They are not.
``The perpetrators are in fact attempting to minimise the potential for change by terrorising people into accepting less than what is required to build a permanent peace.
``Those genuinely committed to the fundamental changes that are required should not be deflected from that task.''
