Mowlam must keep to timetable

Sinn Fein's Mitchel McLaughlin commenting on the timetable for transfer of power produced by Mo Mowlam today said:

``I welcome the timetable for the devolution of powers to the Executive, all-Ireland Ministerial Council and the Implementation Bodies. Dr. Mowlam must not be deflected from her charted course by the threats of Unionist spokespersons.

``There has already been too much slippage in meeting schedules and this must not be allowed to happen in this instance. The Unionist treatment of previous deadlines as being movable target dates is unacceptable. Ms. Mowlam must keep to her stated schedule.''
