Kenny reducing Fine Gael contribution to cheap head line grabbing
Sinn Fein TD for Louth Arthur Morgan has accused Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny of reducing Fine Gael's contribution to advancing the peace process to cheap headline grabbing. He called on Deputy Kenny to join with other parties on the island in a serious effort to end the current political impasse. Deputy Morgan said:
The coming months will probably be the most critical period that we have ever experienced in the peace process and central to all of our efforts must be the full implementation of the Good Friday Agreement. It is incredible that rather than address these difficulties Enda Kenny this morning chose to engage in cheap point scoring. He would better serve the people of this country if he would actively engage in the peace process and work with other parties on the island to end the current political impasse.
