Ó Snodaigh to raise Cyprus at European Affairs Committee
Following the visit of three Irish parliamentarians to Cyprus at the invitation of the Turkish authorities to celebrate the anniversary of the invasion, Sinn Fein TD Aengus Ó Snodaigh has tabled a motion at the Dáil's European Affairs Committee reiterating Irish opposition to the partition and occupation of Cyprus.
The motion will be debated in public session tomorrow (Wednesday 31 July). The meeting begins at 2pm and takes place in Committee Room 2, LH 2000.
