Sellafield Protest

Dublin Sinn Fein and Ógra Shinn Fein will this evening hold a jointly organised mobilisation calling for the closure of the Sellafield Nuclear Plant. The rally will commence at 6pm at the British Embassy in Dublin.

Daithí Doolan, Chairperson of Dublin Sinn Fein and general election candidate for Dublin South East, has called on people to lay aside party political differences and unite in the campaign to shut down Sellafield.

The rally will be chaired by Dublin West Sinn Fein representative Mary Lou McDonald and speakers include Daithí Doolan, Cllr Arthur Morgan of Louth and Tim Hourigan, a spokesperson for the Shut Down Sellafield Campaign.
