Collusion = State sponsored murder
Commenting on last nights Panorama programme Sinn Fein Assembly member Alex Maskey said that collusion was a British policy sanctioned at the highest level. Cllr. Maskey said:
``Last nights programme linked the British agent Brian Nelson to 80 attacks on Catholics in Belfast. This included a murder attempt on myself. Out of these 80 attacks 29 people were killed.
``The murder of Pat Finucane is a high profile example of collusion. The cast involved in this murder and its cover up includes agents Brian Nelson, William Stobie, Ken Barrett and Tommy Lytte at one level, and British Colonel Gordon Kerr and British Ministers Douglas Hogg and Patrick Mayhew at another.
``Collusion can only be described as British state sanctioned murder. Sinn Fein exposed this over ten years ago and we were dismissed. We have for years been demanding the sort of full public judicial independent inquiry which the British government continues to run away from.''
