Taoiseach and Tánaiste urged to visit flood-hit employers in Dublin's East Wall

Sinn Fein Dublin City Councillor Nicky Kehoe has called on An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Tánaiste Mary Harney to urgently meet flood-hit employers and workers in Dublin's East Wall area.

Cllr Kehoe said that there is a particular onus on Mr Ahern and Ms Harney to meet East Wall businesses as the Taoiseach is a TD for the area and the Tánaiste is the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

Cllr Kehoe said:

``These businesses have suffered severe setbacks from this natural disaster and the Government has a responsibility to see what can be done to help them get back on their feet as soon as possible.''
