Pat Doherty to meet workers at the Irish Glass Bottle Factory

The annual Volunteer Jackie Griffith Commemeration in Dublins South East Inner City will take place this coming Saturday 6th July 2002. Pat Doherty MP for West Tyrone will be available to speak to the media at 12.45pm at the Irish Glass Bottle Factory.

Mr. Doherty will be meeting a delegation of the workers and Trade Union shop stewards who are striking for the implementation of the Labour Relations Court recommendation on their redundancy package.

Marchers will then assemble at Ringsend Church at 1.30pm and march to Merrion Square for a rally. Speakers will include Sinn Fein Vice President Pat Doherty MP, Sinn Fein Dublin South East Representative Daithí Doolan, and a representative from the strikers.
