Dublin Sinn Fein members to discuss Peace Process

Sinn Fein negotiator and Ard Comhairle member, Francie Molloy, will give a run down on the peace process to members in Dublin when they meet for their AGM tomorrow.  Among other items to be discussed will be the building of the Sinn Fein organisation in the city and the strategy for fighting the upcoming general electoral campaign.

Speaking today Dublin South Central representative and member of the party's Dublin Executive Aengus O Snodaigh said:

``The Dublin Sinn Fein membership are approaching this AGM in a confident mood. We are happy that the work that activists are doing on the ground is going to result in an increased mandate following the general election.

``At the same time there is a real sense of frustration among our members at the goings-on in the peace process. At a time when the establishment parties are attacking Sinn Fein on a daily basis, a loyalist intimidation campaign is happening across the six-counties without a word from those who should be speaking up for nationalists.

``We are glad to have the opportunity to put our concerns to Francie Molloy who will represent the party leadership tomorrow. The leadership will be told that Dublin Sinn Fein is fully behind their efforts to make the peace process work and that we are in a position to make electoral breakthroughs in this city.''
