End the Crisis

Sinn Fein North Belfast Assembly member Gerry Kelly has called on the UUP leader to `end the current crisis'.  Mr. Kelly was responding to remarks made by UUP leader David Trimble following his party meeting today.

Mr. Kelly said:

``Mr. Trimble cannot cherry-pick the Agreement.  If the UUP leader really wants the peace process to move forward he can best do this by immediately lifting his ban on the two Sinn Fein Ministers, by ending his fracture of the political institutions and by fully implementing and working all of the institutions and all aspects of the Good Friday Agreement.''ENDS
