Adams meets Ahern in Dublin
Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams MP is this afternoon meeting the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern at Government Buildings in Dublin.
The Sinn Fein President will be telling the Taoiseach that, in his view, following Saturday's UUC meeting there is clearly no alternative other than pushing ahead with the full implementation of the Good Friday Agreement.
The need for progress on Policing, Demilitarisation, Equality and Human Rights will also feature in their discussions.
Speaking this morning as he left Belfast Mr. Adams said:
``Last weeks collapse of the Stobie case, the recent criticism of the British government by the UN Human Rights Committee and this mornings further revelations concerning Brian Nelson, refocuses attention on collusion and British involvement with loyalist death squads.
``This afternoon I will be asking the Taoiseach to presss Mr. Blair to agree to a full public judicial inquiry into the Pat Finucane case and into other related cases. I have also written to Tony Blair on this issue.''
