Talks have ended - Kelly
Sinn Fein North Belfast MLA Gerry Kelly commenting this evening on the talks between Sinn Fein and the British and Irish governments said:
``Intensive discussions between Sinn Fein and the British and Irish governments have ended.
``The aim of Sinn Fein in these discussions was to get the British government to face up to its responsibilities and to honour the commitments it made in the Good Friday Agreement and at Hillsborough last May.
``I have to say after many days of concentrated discussions that many obstacles remain to be removed.
``The British government, which created this crisis, has to deliver in a meaningful and substantive way on the issues of policing and demilitarisation and other matters for which it has sole responsibility.
``Unfortunately the militarists continue to dictate the British government's political agenda.'
