UDA response to IRA initiative raises the question of collusion

Sinn Fein North Belfast Assembly member Gerry Kelly responding to the UDA's response to this weekends IRA initiative raises the question of loyalist collusion with British military forces.

Mr. Kelly said:

``I have noted the UDP's response to the recent IRA initiative. It begs the question, does this reflect changes in the UDA leadership.

``And it must be asked is this is this group's reluctance to take such an initiative because a scrutiny of any of their dumps could prove collusion between loyalist death squads and British military forces as documented by the case of British agent Brian Nelson.''
